Antietam Fire Apparatus, Inc. has served the Maryland Fire Service continuously with integrity since 1990, as  Allsafe Fire Trucks. In 2005, Mr. Kyd Dieterich, Allsafe Vice President, purchased the dealership and changed the name to Antietam Fire Apparatus, Inc. The dealership location in Hagerstown, Maryland is located close to the Civil War battlefield of Antietam, which we respectfully draw our name from. Our goal is to provide professional fire apparatus sales representatives and superior service after the sale.  We are proud to be the dealership for the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Eastern West Virginia for KME Fire Apparatus of Nesquehoning, PA.

Antietam Fire Apparatus, Inc. specializes in designing, and providing Custom Fire and Emergency Apparatus to meet the needs of the Municipal and Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services.  Taking an open minded approach to the desires of our customers, and adding our years of fire apparatus sales and fire fighting experience; Antietam Fire Apparatus provides the end user with the very best fit to their apparatus needs at the best price possible.

Antietam Fire Apparatus, Inc. is the authorized Kovatch Organization dealership for the Mid-Atlantic area. Kovatch Fuel Trucks are a major part of this organization. KME makes their own fuel tanks at the main factory located in Nesquehoning, PA. Currently KME has a 10 year federal contract to manufacture all military flight line refuelers, R11-6000.
